We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered SupTech Construction to provide our complete QA/QC services for the Wilhelmshaven FSRU project, contracted by Van Oord for the client Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET), under the management of FSRU Wilhelmshaven GmbH, a Joint-Venture between ENGIE and TES.
Construction of this FRSU Terminal was one of the priority projects backed by Germany’s LNG Acceleration law, passed in May 2022. This law aims to plug the supply gap and bolster Germany’s security of supply when it comes to energy. This fast-track construction project maintains the highest quality and safety standards while minimizing environmental impact. We are proud to support SupTech Construction in achieving these ambitious goals and contributing to the successful realization of this significant energy infrastructure project.

This nearshore project involves amongst others the installation of topside works as part of the Floating Storage and Regasification unit (FRSU) Terminal. Our scope of work for this project includes: - Developing a detailed quality plan. - Performing all field inspections during fabrication and commissioning phases. - Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. - Managing the quality deliverables, including welding inspections, NDT procedures, finalizing Material Record Books and more.
